Savannah Eden Bradley is a writer, fashion editor, and the founder of HALOSCOPE. Born, raised, and based in North Carolina, her work explores the quiet power of fashion to shape our collective tastes, memories, and perspectives.
What sets Savannah apart isn’t just what she builds — but how she sees. Through HALOSCOPE, her newsletter Get Me Savannah!, and her forthcoming book Ladies of the Canyon, she’s carving out a corner of the Internet for thoughtful fashion criticism — where good taste is just a byproduct of paying attention. Like Gntl, her work invites us to slow down and notice what really matters: how we live, how we look, and how those two ideas might perfectly align.

What does your go-to shower ritual look like?
I wake up at 6:00 AM every morning to work out, so I consider my post-gym session shower sacrosanct. My entire life, I’ve been — or, rather, was — an evening shower girl. As I’ve forced myself to become an early bird in 2025, I’ve realized there’s something incredibly balancing and restorative in having all the lights off and soaking up every inch of natural sunshine while I shower.
The first few steps are set in stone: throw on a playlist, pour in a capsule of shower oil (I love this grapefruit and rosemary blend), put my hair in a claw clip, and dry brush all over, working upwards towards the heart. Dry brushing after a workout is fabulous for post-exercise lymphatic drainage and makes me feel like I’m doing something ever so slightly important.
In the shower, I pump some Skin Wash into my hands to cleanse my face of sweat and grime; then, I pump a bit more onto a sea wool sponge, washing from the neck down. I am a sucker for a double cleanse — I’ll occasionally do an extra layer of Saltair’s Golden Hour body wash, infused with a little bit of natural glimmer.
When I decide to wash my hair (it’s a vibes-based cadence), I reach for my Monday Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner and my Sleek’e Repair Therapy mask for an extra hydration boost. Post-shower, I typically slap on a thick layer of Grown Alchemist’s body cream, which has the softest, sweetest citrus aroma.

Other than Skin Wash, of course, I am obsessed with this Rosemary Scalp Mask from the Korean brand Rated Green. As someone with long, thick hair, I’ve never felt like my scalp actually gets clean. A thin layer of this on a long wash day makes me feel like my head is on fire (in a good way!) and sloughs off weeks of flakes, dryness, and product buildup.
Tell us one Gntl thing you do for yourself.
I never learned to drive as a teenager; now, I’m two years in. What was once mind-numbingly terrifying is now peaceful, exhilarating, and deeply gratifying. I find that when I’m working through a project or just need a brain reset, I’ll hop in the car, put on a playlist, and drive. If I’ve learned anything so far this year, it’s that one of the most Gntl things we can do is challenge our old fears and remind ourselves how much we’ve grown. 🪷
